Use the first portion of this form to nominate yourself or someone else for a NACE leadership group. The duties & responsibilities of each group are outlined in the NACE Constitution & Bylaws. As of December 2023 there are three vacancies on the EEC, while the ARC and SAC need to be filled for the first time.
The second portion of this form is to volunteer for an ad-hoc committees organized around specific programs or events, with a short description of the duties and estimated time commitments provided below.

Leadership Nomination

You may nominate yourself or someone else for a NACE leadership group at any point throughout the year. Vacancies on the elected groups (Board, CC, some of the SAC) are filled during a NACE member meeting, usually during the in-person National Convention or as part of the online Winter Business Meeting. The appointed positions (EEC, ARC, the rest of the SAC) are chosen from among the nominees at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Volunteer Committee Interest

Use this section of the form to express your interest in volunteering for an ad-hoc NACE committee. These are started by leadership groups to assist with a particular event or project, which usually lasts for one semester or one academic year.

Convention Planning

The convention planning committee assists the national office staff by providing input and helping make key decisions about programming and other aspects of the national convention every summer. The various sub-groups of this committee meet once a month, with an increased cadence leading up to the convention.
